Why do you teach?
I felt called from an early age to teaching. I don’t think there is a more important career in the world than nurturing young people, helping them to love God and become everything He created them to be.
Why do you teach at FRCS?
God brought me to the team that eventually formed FRCS before the inception of the school. From that time many years ago to this, I have watch as He used leadership, teachers, and parents to guide this school and help it grow. I believe in this school, in its mission, philosophy, core values, culture, and people. I am proud to teach here.
What is your passion in life?
My passion is responding to God’s surpassing love for me by living to love God with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind, and all my strength and to love my neighbor as myself.
What are your hobbies and other interests?
I love to spend time in the mountains hiking, skiing, or just breathing in the fresh mountain air. I enjoy curling up with a good book anytime anywhere. I like being creative; trying new things including sketching, knitting, photography, writing, story telling, public speaking…
