Amy Sutherland:

Educational background and experience:

I graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2003.  Since 2003, I have taught Bible and music in a variety of settings including an international school in the Philippines for two years. I have taught at FRCS since 2008.

Why do you teach?

I teach because I love students and the chance to build relationship with them in and outside the classroom.  I also love what I teach and consider teaching a priceless opportunity to pass on a passion for the Word of God and a love and appreciation for music.

Why do you teach at FRCS?

I love teaching at FRCS because I share the same goals of seeking to glorify God and reach the students of the next generation.  I also love working with fellow staff members who love God and are passionate about giving their lives in ministry to students.

What is your passion in life?

My passion in life is to become more like Christ and to pour out my life in service and ministry to others.  Right now God has given me the opportunity to do this through teaching.  I am passionate about sharing all the God has given me with others.

What are your hobbies and other interests?

I love anything athletic, the mountains and the outdoors.  I also love playing music, reading, learning and spending time with people.
