Denie Dalton

Educational background and experience:I have a BS in Elementary Ed with a minor in history.  I have been teaching since 1981 and have been blessed to be at Front Range since 1996. 

Why do you teach?I teach because I am called to teach.  It is just the way God has wired me.  I really do love it.                

Why do you teach at FRCS?This is quite the involved story.  The short version is that God lead me here, placed me within arms reach of a school that was a perfect fit for not only me, but for both of my girls, and has allowed me to remain here.  I would love to share with anyone who is interested more of the great “details” involved whenever they might be willing to hear it. 

What is your passion in life?I love being a part of making things grow – vegetables, a brand new cross-stitch project, and children.

What are your hobbies and other interests?Boston terriers are a hoot!  Hanging out with the two we have is such fun.  I love being with my girls and watching movies and playing games.  Tim and I enjoy card games as well as chess.  I sing and enjoy “pounding on the piano”.  I also like dabbling with writing.  One of my favorite hobbies (if you can call it that) is facilitating ladies’ Bible studies.
