Welcome to Front Range Christian School. We are excited that you are choosing Christian education for your children. We're looking for a good match. If your family loves Jesus and desires to partner with passionate Christian educators, let's explore the possibilities. We're not a dumping ground or a correctional school. In fact, our admissions process is rigorous, but fair. We are a discipleship-based, private, Christian school that focuses on equipping students to impact the world for Christ. Ok, I can tell your head hurts, what do we mean by that? Well, we require that at least one parent or guardian gives a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior.

After you've spent some time with us and had a chance to meet some of our amazing students and phenomenal teachers, you may hear God stirring your heart to be a part of our school community. If so, pray about it as parents or guardians. Pray some more with your kiddos and young adults. Then, listen for God's direction. If He is leading your family to FRCS, go ahead and submit an application (Click on your desired grade level link on the home page under New Student Applications). Our admissions folks will review your application, and, if everything lines up, we'll contact you for a family interview. Within a few days, we'll contact you with a final decision.  Come to our school events. Start buying SCRIP (to help offset your tuition). Get a flavor of how we do life as followers of Jesus. We look forward to the opportunity to partner with your family in the education of your students.  

Kindergarten: FRCS offers both full-time Kindergarten (5 days a week) and part-time Kinder (2.5 days a week). Both programs are academic in nature and prepare students for advancement to first grade. Part-time Kinder meets on Monday mornings from 8:00-11:15 plus full days on Wednesday and Friday (8a-2:55p). Should you choose to participate in the Kindergarten Spanish Immersion program, this optional class meets on Monday afternoons from 12:30-2:55pm. Full-time Kinder students receive additional specials (art, music, PE) in addition to lunch time and another recess period.  All students applying for Kindergarten must be five years old by September 1 of the current year. All Kindergarten applicants must follow the regular admissions process (including screening) to determine readiness for Kindergarten. Screenings generally take place before or after the family interview. 

New Student Applications: FRCS is accepting applications for grades K-12 for the 2010-2011 school year (click on your desired grade level link on the home page under New Student Applications). All applications must be sumitted by August 15th. Some applications may be accepted after this deadline, however, applications received during the month of August must be submitted as a complete packet and are subject to a $100 application fee (per child). Once the school year starts, new elementary students may enroll until November 15th (for Fall semester) and April 15th (for Winter semester). Due to the rigorous academic schedule for junior and senior high students, 7th-12th grade students will not be enrolled during the Fall semester once the school year has started. Drop In Mondays:  If you would like to learn more about FRCS, why not bring your family to one of our Drop In Mondays? During the school year, your family may simply drop by FRCS on any Monday from 12:00pm-2:00pm (when school is in session) and take a tour of our school, meet principals and teachers and grasp the vision for Christian education!
